The Postal Service, The Palace - 5/5/03 - w/Ang, Tricia. The show was great but the venue sucked big time.

The Notwist, Knitting Factory - 4/20/03 - w/Ang, Tricia. We flew into L.A. just in time to see these German boys perform. Great show, except I was so sleepy.

The Postal Service, Bowery Ballroom - 4/19/03 - w/Tricia. We were in New York and decided to catch this awesome show.

Swedish Showcase, The Troubadour - 3/17/03 - w/Ang. A bunch of Swedes getting together and playing kick ass music feat. Marit Bergman, Lambretta, The Sounds, The $1000 Playboys and The Mo. Spotted: James Iha.

Stars, Knitting Factory - 3/15/03 - w/Ang. Metric opened. KCRW night. Oh, those Canadians.

Ed Harcourt, Largo - 3/11/03 - w/Ang and Astralwerks crew. Sondre happened to be there. Ed sang She Fell Into My Arms. Loungey.

Sondre Lerche and Nada Surf, The Knitting Factory - 3/10/03 - w/Ang and Trish. Fell in love with Sondre.

Rilo Kiley, The Echo - 2/17/03 - w/Ang & Tricia B. - great show...passed out in the bathroom and ended up with a huge bump in my head.

Phantom Planet, The Roxy - 2/7/03 - w/Ang and Tricia W. - the official last phantom planet show ever...possibly. spotted: brandon boyd of incubus, johnny knoxville with his kids and ryan demarti (my schoolmate since the 3rd grade). sorry i couldn't say hi, ryan.

Coldplay, Jimmy Kimmel Show - 1/26/03 - w/Ang, Brianna, and Ashley - crazy free show, saw soundcheck, didn't see Gwyneth.

Phantom Planet, Viper Room - 12/22/02 - w/Ang - sold out madness, Jake was there with Jena Malone and Alicia Silverstone, so was Adam of Maroon5, great new stuff, Alex was a monkey.

Howie Day, Fingerprints - 12/19/02 - w/Ang and Trish - we thought he was from Australia, but that's the name of his album, which is good.

Last Minute, Chain Reaction - 12/7/02 - w/Trish - Chadwick of Youngshire, boy did I feel old there.

Pedro the Lion, Troubadour - 11/24/02 - w/Trish and Joe - deeply religious audience, saw old friend Irene.

Rilo Kiley Record Release - Fonda Theatre - 9/28/02 - w/Ann, Ang, Trish - great as always, stood right next to Jake, and later saw him kiss a boy, i was devasted.

The Color Turning, Zen Sushi - 9/26/02 - w/Anna - Boys from Fullerton I had classes with, great sushi, cute joint.

Duncan Sheik, Virgin's - 9/18/02 - w/Ang - I love Duncan. It was an in-store so we sat on the floor 3 feet away, he asked how i got my name.

Coldplay, Greek Theatre - 9/10/02 - w/Ang, Brianna - again sold out, got in line for cancellation tics, waited for hours when a industry guy gives us pit tics. We also climbed the Hollywood Hills. Spotted: my fave Drew Barrymore.

Erykah Badu, Hollywood Bowl - 8/25/02 - w/Ann, Maritza, Charles - Wyclef John opened. We were faraway they looked like ants.

Beth Orton, Ford Theatre - 8/21/02 - w/Brianna and Ang - bought 2nd row center tics from scalper for really cheap. A foot away from Chris. Spotted: Nic Harcourt, Bob Saget.

Coldplay, El Rey - 8/20/02 - w/Ang - Again snuck in. Very hot tics. We got caught sneaking in back so we made friends with security up front. Spotted: Minnie Driver. Rumored: Jack Nicholson, Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Barrymore.

Everybody Else, Knitting Factory - 8/13/02 - w/Mary and Ang - Carrick is a hottie with great feet moves.

Kings of Convenience, Troubadour - 8/12/02 - w/Ang -Love these Norwegian boys. We sang Tom Petty's Free Fallin in the dark.

30 Seconds to Mars, Troubadour - 8/7/02 - w/Tricia W. - We really didn't have tics so we snuck in. We missed the show but got pictures with Jared Leto and brother Shannon.

Smokie and Miho, Spaceland - 7/24/02 - w/Mary and friend Joey, Angela, and Ann. They sang in Portuguese. Spotted: Giovanni Ribisi and Harrison from the show Popular.

Alfie, Troubadour - 7/23/02 - w/Angela - British band, excellent, small crowd, the band asked us to hang out afterwards, new fave, saw zine guy.

Sneaker Pimps, The Roxy - 7/16/02 - w/Tricia B. - awesome beats, felt like a rave, excellent crowd, saw elijah wood bumming a cigarette.

Rilo Kiley, The Knitting Factory - 6/28/02 - w/Angela, Mary, April - saw Tricia B. and Joe there, always awesome, talked to a bunnyman who was not Jake, did not see Jake.
